They come by your table with various things, which you then take or not, and you share them with the people at your table. It's fun. It can be bizzare: I had snails before I realized what they were (edible but chewy) and got this White Gelatinous Cube which was smaller than 10M (more like 5cm) which turned out to be a coconut desert-type thing: yum! There were other things which don't stand out in my mind. Anyway, I did this with friends in Boston's Chinatown. It was the three of us on one side of a round table, and a bunch of Chinese people on the other side. I had the impression that they were saying to each other, "Look at the stupid Americans! They have no idea what they're doing." but they were polite. That was why I took the snails, as they'd had a bowl of them and just downed them all, so I figured they might be interesting... and we ate forever and only paid something like $3.50/person. It was amazing! Worth doing if you can find a good place for it. -- Howard S Shubs hshubs@bix.com Which lizard is the "right" one? The Denim Adept hshubs@ultranet.com "What?" -- Arthur Dent
