Lieberman says he'll support Obama
By Rex Nutting
Last update: 2:04 p.m. EST Nov. 6, 2008
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Sen. Joe Lieberman, a former
Democrat-turned- independent who strongly backed Republican John
McCain for president, said Thursday he'll support Barack Obama to get
the country moving again. Lieberman spoke after meeting with Senate
Majority Leader Henry Reid about whether he would continue to be in
the Democratic caucus. Lieberman made no comments about whether he'd
stay aligned with the Democrats.
The Democrats relied on Lieberman's vote to allow them to gain control
of the Senate over the past two years, but will have a commanding
majority in the Senate in the next session with or without Lieberman.
Lieberman has been chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, but
could be stripped of that post.

No, he's not. The quintessential Confused Jew is now thinking of
becoming repukeblican by joining that caucus. Reid and the rest of the
Democrats could care less -- Lieberman has been rendered irrelevant
and has had his playing cards taken away like a little kid.

With "friends" like him, you don't need enemies!
They should appoint him head of the newly formed "Person Non Grata"
Committee. Of course, he'll be it's sole member!
