It's not to often that we find individuals like this.

As for 1st. Saturday:

I have made some great, some bad and many good purchases at 1st Saturday, but I
have heard of alot of people getting the shaft.

I have one rule and it hasn't failed me yet.

I ALWAYS pay with a check. If the seller won't take my check than I won't buy.
By paying with a check I can go home and test the equipment. If it doesn't work
I call the seller and arrange to get a replacement that day or Sunday. If they
can't do it until Monday or later, I stop payment on Monday and let them know
that I'm returning the item. If I can't get hold of them I just stop payment
first thing Monday.

If the seller won't give me their phone number than I usually won't buy from
them. But if it's something I really need I will give it a try.

The only way that this method doens't work is if the seller leaves 1st Saturday
and gets to my bank before noon (hasn't happen yet) :).

BTW - I have sold merchandise at 1st Saturday and I have always taken checks
and I always gave out my phone number.
