Just guessing here, but I'd bet dollars to donuts they use the ShivaPPP
dialer with a special secure/encrypted Netscape connection. Quicken
does. (Look in your Quicken directory if you have one/doubt me...)

MS Money is similar...

Why do you need to monitor the lines? If it isn't working, contact their
tech support... It is quite likely that it is just proprietary enough
that you'll need their help, and they probably have the answers...
