I know people in the SF Bay area who AFAIK are trying out ISDN with at
least one of the regional providers there.  I don't know for sure if
there's flat-rate ISDN there or not, but these are heavy-duty 'Net
users, and I'm not sure they'd be so eager to beta-test ISDN stuff if
it was not flat-rate.  (There, have I rumor mongered enough without
specific factual information for this post?)

Now, the real reason for this post:

I know what Yahoo is, but not what Excite is.  May I ask what it is?
May I ask the URL?

Oh, for those who haven't tried it out yet, Alta Vista, a new search
engine by DEC, seems nifty.  It does both web pages like Lycos or
Webcrawler, and news articles like DejaNews.  The URL is:

http://www.altavista.digital.com

(I cut and pasted that and checked it, it's a live URL.)
