Amen! I too have been a hamfest attender for years and am very dis-
appointed that a lot of the neat historical stuff is not appearing
very often. PC stuff is fine but when you spend your whole working
day with it you need a break! I was at a hamfest a few years ago and
was able to buy an IM/P computer for $5. What really killed me was
that the seller told me that he had four Altair 8800's which he
wanted to unload but he didn't think that anyone would be interested!
I would have bought them all! He wasn't interested in mailing them to
me so here I am still without an Altair.....
So moral of the story....if you are a regular hamfest seller and you
have neat old stuff, truck it along anyway and I think you'll find
that _some_ people still love that stuff and would rather see it than
a tired old XT for $10.
