Be careful, Doug!! SOMEBODY in this Digex lashup said officially some
weeks ago that your SLC's crap out because they can't handle 3500 and that
that is what it takes to make 28.8 work.

I don't ask Digex to worry about MY phone lines - I worry about my phone
lines and I get them fixed so they are as clean as copper can get. Lucky
you will say - like hell I am - I work BA till they are glad to give me a
clean line from my modem to my exchange. Beyond that I trust in God and it
seems to work right up to the Digex front door where your SLC's get in the
act.

I have no beef with Digex per se'!! I get good solid 21.6 connects with no
busys and only an occasional hung modem which I have no trouble
recognizing - but let's try to be accurate in your defensive responses.
Your company right or wrong may not be the best defense or even a good
one.
