@ The OS/MP 4.1A.1 release adds support for the ISO 9660:1988 filesystem 
@ (sometimes referred to as the "High Sierra Filesystem"), the industry-standard
@ file format for CD-ROMS. Support for DOS filesystems has also been added to 
@ OS/MP with this release, allowing for fast and simple data exchange with PC's
@ running DOS

@    This patch provides a new version of dopackage and support programs
@    that understand installing from an on-disk copy of a distribution in
@    addition to the standard installation from tape.  The motivation for
@    this is to provide an easy installation scheme for patches distributed
@    via ftp and uucp.

@    The utility mkpkgdir is provided, which translates the tape-specific
@    package format to the disk-specific format.  If a tape distribution is
@    to be read onto disk for later installation, this utility must be
@    used.  One reason for wanting to do this is that after the
@    distribution is read on, the directory may be exported via nfs, and
@    many machines may install from it simultaneously.
