've a question to all atari programmers. my problem is a new mega-st1 with
an megafile-30 hard disk. the tos version is V1.4 from Apr-06-89.

if you turn on all system components at once, the computer doesn't boot from
the hard disk. so, i wrote a small boot program which is waiting for 10
seconds (reading the _hz_200 counter) and then returns with an rts to the
boot sequence. this program is installed on drive a: .

now the system is running my little boot program and continues to boot from
drive a:, ignoring all attempts to install a hard disk driver. the hard disk
is configured for auto-boot wi     rts
