For SGI-IRIS users :

>From viswiz.gmd.de (ftp 129.26.1.159 ) :  new 1.40.3 G++  in /pub/gnu/g++:

g++1.40.3.tar.Z: G++ binaries based on G++-1.40.3/gcc-1.40, containing
the binaries changed since 1.39.1, except for some minor change
in toplev.c cc1plus compiled right away,

take your pick:

-rwxr-xr-x root/sys 1871248 Nov 13 16:40 1991 gcc-cc1plus
-rwxr-xr-x root/sys   92916 Nov 13 16:53 1991 ../bin/g++

The new collect3 from 1.40.3 does not work on an Iris , got a seemingly
minor problem which I don't have the time to fix right now, but the old one
from 1.39.1 ( file g++bin.tar.Z, same directory ) will do, I fixed
that one :-) you might be in trouble sometimes with global constructors
on an Iris.
