Why not? If you can connect to the machine that ordinarily receives your mail, and it recognizes you, tell it to forward your mail. If my mail is already being forwarded to jeep.ka9wgn.ampr.org as I drive around, I'll get it there as long as there is connectivity. If I decide to have forwarding done later, I can connect back and ask for it. Otherwise I can just use any of a number of protocols to read the mail back home as long as connectivity exists when I want to read. The advantage of forwarding is that I can take advantage of intermittent connectivity that might not coincide with when I want to read mail, such as when I am asleep. -- /***************************************************************************\ / Phil Howard -- KA9WGN -- phil@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu | Guns don't aim guns at \ \ Lietuva laisva -- Brivu Latviju -- Eesti vabaks | people; CRIMINALS do!! / \***************************************************************************/
