You may wish to try the newer version of PKLite which was recently
uploaded to SIMTEL20.

PKLTE112.EXE B 51140 910712 PKLITE v1.12, compress EXE/COM files and run

It fixes a problem with some EXE files.

Did I miss something or is there a trick to getting the Chat function to work
on KA9Q nos? I keep getting a Refused errno 9 when trying it.

Subject: 9600 baud repeater?

I want to build a 9600 baud regenerative repeater around a G3RUH modem.
Can someone who has done this or researched this please tell me what
special circuitry I need to add to the G3RUH modem to make it work in
this fashion. Does anyone have any documentation on a project like this.
I am sure that I have read that this has been done but I can't remember
who said that they had done it. Was it Brian Kantor?

Any help and/or suggestions regarding this project would be appreciated.

Subject: Using tip as a remote sysop

I would like to telnet into my home station via RF and use the
remote sysop command (@) to get to my home Net> prompt.

At that point, I assumed, I could use tip to connect to the Xenix
box, which is connected via a serial line.

The tip command works fine while I'm am at the console, but not when
I connect up to the mailbox and become a remote sysop.

I can issue the tip command, and start a tip session, but a window is
not created, and I am not actually in a tip session.

Is this a bug, a feature, or what?

Has there been a correction/change to this.

I initially tried this running g1emm, but have since tried it using
pa0gri's latest with the same results.

Thanks,

 Joseph R. Skoler
