Hi all,

Let me start by giving everybody the best wishes for 1991.

We plan to do a hardware and software upgrade on our X25 switch on Monday
January 7th between 9:00 AM and noon (Dutch time).
This will cause some interruptions for the following links :

- Amsterdam - CERN (IP and X25, including DECNET over X25)

- NIKHEF - IXI (IP to/from ULCC, IRIS and ARIADNE, IP from CWI using IXI
and all other IXI traffic to/from NIKHEF)

We try to keep the interruptions as short as possible of course, but
experience learns that we may run into some problems. If you have any
problems with the above connections after the upgrade, please contact us at
x25-support@nikhef.nl or ripe-op@nikhef.nl

Regards,

Marten
