America Votes: Presidential Campaign Memorabilia from the Duke University Special Collections Library Announcing a new exhibit of memorabilia from American presidential campaigns, including buttons, bumper stickers, leaflets, letters, sheet-music, and even t-shirts. The latest trend in political campaigns is for candidates and parties to have their own web sites, and links are provided to these too. You can find the exhibit at the Duke University Special Collections Library web site (http://scriptorium.lib.duke.edu/) or more directly at the following URL: http://scriptorium.lib.duke.edu/americavotes/ Visit the on-line exhibit now, and see the actual items on display in the Special Collections Library's Rare Book Room exhibit cases in a few weeks. Stop by for a piece of presidential campaign history... -- Paul ============================================================================= Paul Mangiafico paulm@scriptorium.lib.duke.edu Director, The Digital Scriptorium http://scriptorium.lib.duke.edu/ Special Collections Library Telephone: 919-660-5913 Duke University Durham, NC 27708-0185 USA =============================================================================
