In an ideal world, we wouldn't be using operating systems designed for the computer illiterate either. But since the world isn't so ideal and since there's a lot of money to be made catering to the computationally challenged, we get what we get. Sigh. But ... there are little games you can play with the Send To folder. You could either put shortcuts to the apps you want or appropriate BAT files there. That'd give you the option of rightclicking a file, picking Send to, then choosing the app you want to deal with the file. If I recall correctly, the default behavior of having an app shortcut in the file is the same as invoking the app on the command line with the file you've rightclicked passed to it as the first commandline param. > >In an ideal world, double clicking on a *.ps extension would pop up a dialog >box, "view postscript", "Distill to PDF", "Cancel". >
