DAVE BRIGGMAN

Dear Group Member:

Recently, this institution, The American War Library, received two
threatening e-mails from an individual named "DAVE BRIGGMAN" using
the e-mail address:

             (paradigm@interpath.mercury.com).

We have never had prior contact with this individual and our
records show that he has never served in any branch of the United
States military. You will understand that, because of his threats,
and his non-military service, we were confused why The American
War Library was chosen by him to receive
his threats.

Mr. Briggman, in his e-mails, has DEMANDED that The American War
Library STOP posting its daily info-letters in military and
veteran newsgroups. Mr. Briggman threatens (below) that if The
American War Library does not stop posting our info-letters he
will send (or flood) our internet mailboxes with "gigabytes" of
useless "mail'.

We are all aware that in the wake of the UnaBomber suspect arrest,
all kinds of people come out of the woodwork hoping to achieve
similar 'fame'. Innocent Americans and groups, as who were
murdered in Oklahoma City by no less criminal deviates, are
generally the first to be targeted by merciless terrorists who
believe that the only way to achieve public awareness is to harm
an American citizen.

The American War Library asks that anyone with any information on
Mr. Briggman please contact us with ANY information via:

1. amerwar@earthlink.net, or
2. amerwar@aol.com

As war veterans we feel we have endured enough battle for a
lifetime. Our two post-war missions are non-intimidating and do
not deserve Mr. Briggman's terrorist threats or persecution.

Thank you,

Roger Simpson
