My T1 lines and ISDN are provisioned by BellSouth. Since they got me up
and running in December on their system, I have not had any measurable
packet loss at all. And I mean none.

No down timne. No dropped connections. Nothing. And the one problem that
I did experience back in December when they were initially provisioning
was amazing. There was a major problem with the ground copper that needed
to be replaced. In the meantime, rather than giving me lame excuses,
senior engineers were here on site at 2 AM on a Sunday morning in the
rain hanging a stretch of overhead wire one and a half miles from my
pedestal to the slic. They were stapling the thing to trees and power
poles. I have never seen that kind of efficient response from any company.

My T! generally goes from my local router then to the Cisco 7000 at the
peering point as the very next jump. On occasion when I do a trace route,
I will jump into the Atlanta NOC and then home off to a number of
different peering routers (but never more than just one until it crosses
over to the other system.) Their system is set up that way to provide
instant redundency on all connections and it works.
