One thing I've done in the past to make my life easier is to use the
File Types settings (View...Options...File Types under My Computer in
NT)
to add new actions for files. For instance, I always found it annoying
that Acrobat Exchange opened up by default on all of my PDF docs,
because it takes a lot longer to open than Reader. Reinstalling Reader
fixed this, but then I got annoyed because I had to launch Exchange and
do a File...Open to edit PDF docs. So, I added a new action named
something like "Open (Exchange)" and set it up to launch Exchange. This
appears under the right mouse button menu for the PDF file. You ought
to be able to do something similar for your .ps files, I think.
