There are several Barbershop groups in your area. I suggest you drop a note to the spebnet per the below header that accompanies each of my postings of my copy of the digest, and I would bet that you get responses and invitations to join within the day and maybe even in the hour! Meanwhile, I think that there are tickets (a few) left for the Asheville show tomorrow, which will feature the group Acoustix, as well as the Asheville chorus, and others. Call Ward Boss at 704-692-6303 for further info if it is interesting to you. (To give you an idea, I am in the Atlanta area, and am driving nearly 4 hours to be able to hear them - my first time, which should give you an idea of their reputation - and so feel that I can say it is worth the effort if you can go...) Ennyhoo, drop a line to the spebnet for the purpose of your original question, and visit the various SPEBSQSA chapters in your area. The groups will have any number of folks who want to sing in a quartet, and off you go. There is even a collegiate division of SPetc...
