i'm away from my office a lot this semester, and have been thinking of
getting a cell phone. has anyone explored the variousn deals available
around the triangle? the phone would probably ahve fairly low use, mainly
as a way for people to get in touch with me, and for my wife to use on
trips for emergencies.

thanks,

paul gronke

Paul,
AAA has a good deal with 360... I received a new phone+ service + 10
or 15 minutes/month for $12.95. That's affordable for most anyone for
emergency use only.
