Hi!

We are looking for a roommate in the carrboro, chapel hill area.

The thing is we don't want your run-of-the-mill scrub roommate. We are
looking for someone(s) who is a graduate student or professional, preferably
in an artistic or otherwise right-brained field, but hopefully technically
minded too. Basically we'd like to surround ourselves with other
creative and interesting people. We'd like our home to be a think tank!

You should know about us:

Dav: computer programmer, IBM. likes mountain bikes, surfing, raves, WXYC.

David: law student, Duke. Says he likes intellectual conversations, going to
pubs, listening to classic rock, discussing hopelessly left-wing
political causes, and probably more things that he can't think of
       right now.

Jeff: computer programmer, IBM. Races motocross. Wants to invent something
that costs $2 to make, can sell for $10 and everyone in the world
      needs two.

We want a _house_ not an apartment. And we care more about the location
and size of the house than about how nice it is to look at. By location i
am referring to proximity to pubs, not nice neighborhoods.

We are looking for a place now, but may not find one until august. (we need
to definitely have a place by then.)

We want our house to be a techno-heaven. Lots of wires and video displays.
Maybe some lava lamps and a disco ball in the living room.

We'd prefer someone who can add to the mess with their own computer (So we
won't have to share ours). But this is not necessary. So far it is two IBM
486's, A macintosh IIci and various old Trash-80's and commodore 64 type
stuff we need to make something out of.

Well if you're interested, E-MAIL to a DIFFERENT address (listed below),
DON'T POST. Also, If you replied to a similar article a few weeks ago,
I did not receive it due to problems with my mail spooler, so please mail
again.

Mail to one or more of the following addresses:

gccolema@ecuvax.cis.ecu.edu <--- me
danzig@acpub.duke.edu <--- David
jshore@ralvm8.vnet.ibm.com <--- Jeff

Oh, and you might notice i cross-posted this to motss. While we
are all heterosexual, if you are bigoted in sexual orientation or race,
we don't want to know you.

Aloha
Dav Coleman
