I was talking to a friend recently wo recalls the Zeppelin raid on
Edinburgh in ( I think) 1915. He lived in Rodney St at the time, down
near Canonmills, and the presumed target was a factory where the William
Low supermarket now is.

At this factory they made - gasp - Poison Gas.


Does anyone know anything about this, or can anyone suggest any books?
