I occasionally sit on selection boards for choosing new employees. An
employee that is capable of lying is an employee capable of tact, of getting
his colleagues 'signed up', of putting the best possible light on whichever
company I'm with with customers, with suppliers. An employee incapable of
lying is of no use in any position above that of janitor. In fact, there was
a recentish survey that showed children that learn to lie are usually more
sociable as adults than those that do not. I don't have the reference for
that tho, which is a shame, so you'll just have to accept my assurance that
I'm not lying!

I know you'll disagree, that's your perogative. What can I say though?
Nothing that time won't also tell you.
