Dear all, I'm looking for a power supply module for an old Apple PowerMac. Does anyone have a spare one e.g. in the form of a computer that's not needed anymore and simply takes up space? I could pay up to L10 if that makes a difference. Stoned koala bears drooled eucalyptus spittle in awe as <mxh@dcs.ed.ac.uk> declared: >I'm looking for a power supply module for an old Apple PowerMac. > >Does anyone have a spare one e.g. in the form of a computer that's not needed anymore >and >simply takes up space? You'll need to specify what model of power mac you've got -- their power supplies aren't all standardized. In addition, you might want to open the PSU up and check to see if the quick-blow fuse has gone -- this can cause 'em to flake out and look dead even though it's about a fifty pence component (and designed to be replaceable). -- Charlie
