Hello!
I'm fed up with getting stuck at the computer all the time asking
annoyed-looking people for single things not having a clue what happens
inside the computer in fact. (Is that a normal feeling?- if so, I should
immediately stop working with it)

So I urgently need a 3rd or 4th year CS student or someone who feels
like having answers to (some of) my questions about the topics below:

*Finding/Getting along with a (DATABASE-like) program with tables,
pointers, and so on and a programmable (graphic) environment.

*Customizing the TWM (and UNIX) environment

*Knowing a bit about LINUX (installation, compatibility to UNIX,)

*INTERNET services: What happens inside? (the Computer Application
Course was not quite satisfactory)

*getting an overview over current (free, flexible, menuorientated)
SOFTWARE, standards and (file) FORMATS (e.g. things like Newline= nr. 10
and 13 -problem)

*Knowing where to find good INFORMATION about topics like above on my
owm.

If you want to, I could ask a lot about English LANGUAGE as well.

If you're interested I could either PAY you or (preferably) teach you
some (up to 3rd year level) MATHS (esp. discrete subjects like (linear)
algebra, logic,..) or GERMAN as a native speaker instead.

You can as well phone me on (Edinburgh) 221 92 41 (Andreas)
