With an DOS-extender you can execute 32-Bit Dos Programms using extended memory ( or expanded ? ). The GO32 Extender is available with the MS-DOS Version of the Gnu C-Compiler known as gcc. (Up to version 2.3 for sure. I haven't checked the newer ones.) It was also a part of DEMACS, a port to MS-DOS of the Gnu Emacs. Look at anonymous-ftp-site: ftp.th-darmstadt.de > Thanks, > Ben.
