Public transport Edinburgh - Glasgow International at night?

Hi,

in June I've got to travel on a weekday from Edinburgh to Glasgow
International Airport such that I arrive at around 4:30AM. My current
plan is to take the Citylink bus at 23:59 from Edinburgh to Glasgow, get
a taxi from Glasgow city centre to the airport and then simply wait
there for a couple of hours, which is quite annoying. I wonder if
someone has a better idea? Is there really no train or bus service
running during the night, or am I just too stupid to find it?

Thanks for your help!
Jennifer
