edNET is a small, but rapidly growing, ISP for the Edinburgh area. We
cater to home and corporate users, and pride ourselves on the wide range
of technical solutions we provide, and the high level of service we offer. 

As a result of recent expansion, we are currently taking on part-time
technical staff, to cover, in the first instance, afternoon/evening
shifts. Succesful candidates will form part of our front-line support
staff, providing support to users over the phone, via email, in the
office and on-site. In addition, they will be involved in system
administration. 

Applicants should have experience of networking and internet comms (PPP,
TCP/IP) as well as, preferable, a working knowledge of Windows and Mac
internet applications. A good grasp of UNIX is also expected. Initiative,
enthusiasm and good communication skills are vital. 

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in an
exciting and developing field, working as part of a friendly and dynamic
team. Training will be provided on the job.
