It is premature to compliment the campaign, since it has not yet been
evaluated. The Womens' Unit does believe the campaign to have been
`popular', because (a) they have had more phone calls congratulating
them on it than they have had complaining about it (They said the `vast
majority' of calls had been supportive, but did not say exactly how many
calls there had been) and (b) the same council has appointed a full time
worker to a rape crisis centre.

The Glasgow University Media Group is conducting an evaluation of the Z
campaign. The Womens' Unit says that GUMG are specialists in
advertising, but when I last heard from them they were complaining that
there was not enough revolutionary socialism on TV.
