Students of zero tolerance may be amused by the following. A week ago my son Robin came to visit for the week-end and my ex-wife Sally came to collect him. At the time she came to collect him, my daughter Louise and two of here friends, Charlene and Donna, were all in my house. (Louise left Sally's house almost as soon as she was legally entitled to do so, for reasons which are about to become apparent.) While Robin was getting his things together, Sally fell upon Louise, quite unprovoked, scratching her face and arms and pulling her hair. I pulled her off Louise and asked her to leave the flat; she refused. I asked her again, politely, to leave the flat; she refused. I forced her out of the flat in the only wrestling-hold I know. She was unhurt and once outside the flat she said `I just felt like doing that'. I slapped her face hard and told her that she was not allowed to attack my children. Louise was hurt and very shaken; we slept with the doors locked for three or four nights (usually I leave the doors open). Poor Charlene was still having nightmares a week later, and a visitor to our back square on a sunny day will find the children shrieking hideously at each other as they play at being Sally Monsters. I later learned that on her way home Sally called in at the police station to report the assault. She also refuses to come and collect Robin again for fear that I will assault her: he has to come back on the bus and let himself into her empty house with his latch key. I am disappointed to have to report that the police have not yet interviewed me about the incident, so either they have a very long waiting list or they told her to piss off, Ken Johnson, violent criminal rapist -- Son, all the pretty, intelligent, healthy # Ken Johnson, AIAI, Edinburgh young women are taken.
