I can tell you are trying very hard to make a deep philosophical point here

Yeah right, what the fuck is this mega project I've never heard of?

This one's pretty funny right? you'll have to excuse me, the last time I
had a good laugh was when my sled dogs collided, I realize it's not Benny
Hill or anything paralytically hillarious for a Brit.

I'm speachless!, almost. And here we were thinking that England was a
cess-pool filled with reactionary halfwits... This is stunning analysis,
a real prizewinner of gormlessness.
I take it that Edinburgh is a city of some size, one rape a week must
be a very low rate of reporting to the police...
I'll admit that I know nothing of the debate here other than what I can
inferr from your babbling, but I think the defense of this thing you don't
like goes like this:
Perhaps, women have other considerations in mind when they choose where
to live than simply how likely they are to be raped. It would be nice, I
think, to perhaps not make the threat of violence the primary concern in
the daily life of citizens. I'm guessing here that you don't have a mother,
sister, daughter or girlfriend.
