I used the dental hospital emergency service a couple of times to
replace lost or broken fillings.  They did the emergency work (cleaning
and dressing) free, including X rays and in one case the services of a
consultant anaesthetist.  I am not exempt from dental charges.  The
point is, though, that students may need to be told what to do in the
event of a dental emergency after the Dental Hospital closes.
