De forma que las operaciones con base de datos se hace en un servidor Java (si no puedes o quieres hacerlo directamente en PHP usando ODBC) y es PHP el que realiza todas las operaciones web. Sinceramente no s� hasta que punto merece la pena complicarse tanto.
