Do you know Zipautomator ?

ZipAutomator is a compression utility, built around the Microsoft 
Explorer. ZipAutomator supports compression and extract of Zip, Lha and 
new Bh format without external application. ZipAutomator view and extract 
almost popular format : Gzip, Tar, Arc, Arj, Zoo. With ZipAutomator you 
can define archive file as favorite, and ZipAutomator will update, 
refresh or even rebuild it automaticaly. ZipAutomator introduces Atp file 
concept to update easely archive files. With ZipAutomator you can access 
quickly to your last donwloaded files. ZipAutomator supports full OLE 
drag and drop, and add some usefull utilities to the Explorer. With a 
single click (or drag and drop) you can compress an entire folder or 
drive with permanent exclude specification Multi-disk spanning and SFX
