hola mira ya cambie la funcion, en este programita lo manejo con la
funcion time, lo que no se, es como en lugar de la sentencia for(donde
se le da un determinado tiempo ) se maneje con el tiempo de ejecucion
de un proceso

{
   long int i=0;
   time_t inicio, fin;

   inicio = time( NULL );
   for( i=0; i<10000; i++ );
   fin = time( NULL );
