Hola a todos.

Estoy intentando programarme un script secillito, y me he encontrado
con una chorrada. Necesito cortar una cadena por la derecha, pero no
he encontrado c�mo. He mirado el comando cut, pero, o s�lo corta por
la izquierda, o yo soy un incapaz (probablemente). Lo que estoy
haciendo en un peque�o "wrapper" para xdvi, para poder ver ficheros
dvi.gz directamente, sin tener que despomprimirlos antes. Lo que
necesito es pasar de fichero.dvi.gz a fichero.dvi (como cadena).
