Poniendolo como primario, el que primero hay en el /etc/lilo.conf es el primero
que arranca:

boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
keytable=/boot/es.ktl
prompt
timeout=50
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.14
	label=l
	root=/dev/hda3
	read-only
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.12
