A local firm, called Alpha Data parallel systems Limited, closely
associated with Napier University SEMC is exhibiting some exiting
products during that event. All staff involved in disciplines concerning
parallel processing and high performance computing are cordially invited
to come along and see these interesting demonstrations. Broadly speaking ,
any application needing large amount of processing power would benefit
from the solutions offered by Alpha Data range of products. For example,
some of the suitable applications are those in: artificial intelligence, neural
networks, fuzzy logic controllers, industrial automation, fluid dynamics,
molecular simulation, finite element analysis, robotics, image processing,
seismic and digital signal processing. Educational establishments have also
shown a lot of interest in powerful parallel processing systems from Alpha
Data to assist them in their research and teaching.
