               He is so close to this story he can't
               see straight. That may explain why the
               facts are all off. And why we don't
               really get the full picture about why
               Internex a glandular case BBS (Bulletin
               Board Service) went down so fast and
               far and so funnily.

               What you had was a bunch of system 
               operator amateurs who wired together
'              five or six 486 computers, found a
               rent-an-office, plugged it into a 
               direct feed sweetheart deal from UUNET,
               oversubscribed the whole set-up and
               then spent the last year denying all
               of the above. Phones rang, no-one
               answered, E-Mail went unread and the
               whole mess went from worse to even
               worser (SP/GR). And then they kicked
               me off their service and tempted
               the gods with their affrontery...

               That's it. The whole truth and
               nothing but the truth so help me
