The Southern Pacific seems to be testing the MU capability of the new
Caltrain locomotives with the rest of the SP fleet. This morning saw
several different consists during the rush hour, including SP #'s
3413 (GP9), 4450 (SD9), and several of the 3200 class (SD45) loco-
motives running with the F40's trailing. If only briefly, SP units
again are 'on the point'... --Steve
