I'd like to invite you to the RPG game called The Forsaken.

The game is set in Medieval times in England, at the turn of 13 and 14
century, but it is more like a fantasy story than historical essay :) There
are no elves, dragons or dwarves there, but mere mortals, demons and people
with extraordinary powers. Plus action and emotions, danger and love,
intolerance and loyalty... And everything you would like to add there. We
have the Inquisition instead of FOH, horses instead of Blackbird and swords
and bows instead of laser guns. The everlasting problem of being different
is the same like in the X-Men stories and in many other tales...

The idea of the game is based vaguely on X-Men comics, but all what we have
in common with Marvel canon comic books is a phenomenon of people with
unnatural powers existing in the real world. Thus, even if you have never
read any X-Men comic book but you like good fantasy and adventure stories,
you shall love it!

The game is located at Yahoo and played via e-mail. We use no particular
system, just our imagination and writing skills. All messages are in
English, although players are an international bunch. Some people are
experienced RPG players but some are beginners, it really doesn't matter!
Feel free to try your own imagination, creativity and writing skills.

Characters may possess special powers or be 'normal' humans, they may be
original or based on Marvel characters; good, evil or neutral; of any age,
race, religion, etc.

If you want to join the game or have any questions, see the webpages then
contact moderators (at the Yahoo site you can find more information and all

...Before Xavier and the X-MEN,
Before Magneto and The Brotherhood of Mutants,
there were...
The Forsaken

"...The words within these pages are my memoirs, the chronicle of the plight
faced by my kind. There are many names that have been bestowed upon us by
society, but we call ourselves The Forsaken. We are God's unwanted
children, a plague upon His earth. We have been accused and murdered as
demons and witches, and we have been revered as mages, seers, and even gods.
There are those of us who have decided to use our curse to help those who
have judged us so cruelly, hoping that one day, God will forgive us our sins
and that we may one day walk beside Him. But there are those who have given
into the Demon and have turned their curse against the civilization that has
betrayed them. They believe society is evil, some have even relinquished
their faith in Him. It is they whom must be punished for the blood coursing
through their veins. And we are the only ones capable of delivering that
punishment here on earth. So we take up the sword, and our curse against the
Demons. We shall never rest. We shall never relent. And we shall not stop,
until one of us is dead. Welcome to our world..."
