Practical Peripheral is a company engaging in FRAUD.

No problem. I bought 3 PPI Mini Towers as Christmas
presents for family members. Before I made the purchase
I made sure the dealer was truthful. I contacted PPI to confirm
these modems would have a Lifetime warranty and the cost to
upgrade would be $49. The deal seemed good so I bought
the three as gifts. My brother called me the other day to say
PPI has decided to INCREASE the cost of the upgrade to $99
because the upgrade chips have become scarce and the price
is warranted by supply and demand. Call them yourself. They
not only had a written agreement with me, but a verbal one as
well. The verbal contract is legally binding since the consideration
from both parties is equitable and thereby enforceable. I tried to
execute the contract by contacting them to send the modem in for
the agreed $49 upgrade fee. PPI attempted to void the contract
with supply and demand horseshit. The contract is not voidable
and without my consent is not negotiable. There are literally
thousands of these modems out there and all consumers with
these modems are being FRAUDED by PPI. Very simple.

 YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
