Does anyone know what a .rc file is? I am writing a code that specifies that 3 input files will be sorted and merged into a master file. The names of these 3 input files will be obtained from a .rc file. It suppose to be short name for a runtime configuration file. Still I cannot find any information on this type of file. Can anyone explain what a .rc file is and how the process works with reading the names of inputs file to be used in a program source code?

Hi Thomas, Sorry for the last confusing response, just wanted to know if you were referring to cobol or C? -Art- Thomas F. Saunders 3rd wrote: > > Does anyone know what a .rc file is?
