To Whom It May Concern
I am seeking an Entry Level Y2K/Cobol Programmer Analyst position, I
have enclosed a copy of my application and resume for your review and
consideration of my qualifications.

As my resume indicates, I completed a Y2K/Cobol Programming course at
Holland College, Charlottetown on September 26 1997. My day-to-day
output, which can be verified by the course instructors, reflects a high
level of motivation, efficiency, and incisive ability to meet
objectives. I perform under a minimum of supervision, and I demonstrate
a high degree of initiative and judgement.

As a Y2K/Cobol Programmer graduate, my professional job experience is
limited. However, I believe that you will find, and previous employers
will verify, that I exhibit intelligence, common sense, initiative,
maturity, and stability, and that I am eager to make a positive
contribution to your organization. I would welcome the opportunity to
meet with you personally to examine a position in detail. I may be
reached at the above address or by telephone at the indicated number.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Allan Clark
