When I The original title of the show in Japanese is "Mahha GO! GO! GO!(Mach go, go, go!)." The show at first had been on the air some 25 years ago. I used to watch it at the time. Speed racer's name is Go Mifune, so you may guess where 'G' is from. The girl's name I remember is Rumi something. I think M is from Mifune, since Go's father runs a car factory named "MIFUNE MORTORS" or something like that and she probably works there as a racing team member??? Other characters...only one that I can think of now is Fukumen Racer, roughly a masked racer, who always put on a mask and was found out later to be a brother of Speed Racer. BTW, my American friend from Chicago told me he'd seen several other "Japanimations" a while back there. Any other memories of "Japanimations," such as the Ultraman?? I'm just curious about them and their titles. Naoki "go, speed racer, go"
