Apology if this is much out-of-date question. As part of our multiprocessing hardware project, we are looking for some commercially available bit-parallel crossbar switching chips. So far we've found a couple of such chips; for instance, AMD's Am29C983 Multiple Bus Exchange chip and TI's 74ACT8841 (I heard that the TI chip is now obsolete). Are there other such chips available in the market (or in the research lab) ? Any response will be much appreciated.
