I don't think we live in a "closed" society as was in the USSR. If you
want access to information, this wouldn't be that difficult. The problem
is some people close inside themselves and reject any kind of different
values and information. I always heard something like |$@!VF|K\$OEg9q$G$9(J
$@$+$i;EJ}$,$J$$!#!#!W(J YES! Welcome to Zhipangu: The shikata-ga-nai-no-kuni!
Everything you want to do and cannot, you will hear a shikata-ga-nai...
I think the media, the education, the government make the people believe
in their "uniqueness" and many people don't think they need to adapt
to what the world is requiring about Japan: A leadership to make new
financial, economical, political and moral values.(My opinion)
