inagaki> 2) Be extremely careful not to use bad Japanese, when talking about your boss.

inagaki> One of my foreign friends meant "I do not like the way my boss does things,"
inagaki> or "I think my boss has bad attitude."
inagaki> He accidentally use the direct translation of this:
inagaki> "Boku no joushi wa taido ga warui to omoi masu."
inagaki>    This sounds too magnanimous, and is very impolite Japanese;
inagaki> probably this is the last thing to say.

I think he could use the following strategy:

3) When you want to say what you think to a Japanese, grin from ear to ear
  ( and say it in english, if you can).

I was catched many times calling my boss as "X-kun"... :-)

That reminds me when I came to Japan, and my boss that time said
(When I showed my project):

-Muzukashii desu ne...

Then, I thought that would be difficult and I made more and more
plans and all the time I heard:

-Muzukashii desu ne...

Then, at last I understood that "A Japanese never says NO, he
will make you tired to death before you can got an answer...."

A la prochaine fois...
