Nina Kiriki Hoffman appears in Head Space, Tuesday, June 24, 6:00 p.m. PDT (Wednesday 1:00 GMT). Use "telnet talk.com" to participate (for more information on Nina Kiriki Hoffman and Head Space, access http://www.talk.com/talk/headspace/). Since 1982, Nina Kiriki Hoffman has sold over 150 stories, some short-story collections, and a couple of novels, including -The Thread that Binds the Bones- (winner of a Stoker Horror Award); Nebula and World Fantasy nominee -The Silent Strength of Stones-, and -Child of an Ancient City-, a collaboration with Tad Williams. Her shelf of fiction supports Damon Knight's 1984 prediction: "There is no way you are not going to hear more of Nina Hoffman, unless God zaps her with a lightning bolt tomorrow." Luckily, God didn't, and Nina keeps churning out great stories. Not content with just frightening adults (and sometimes making them laugh), Nina recently turned to writing scary books and stories for children. Join hosts Martha Soukup and Angus MacDonald to talk with Nina about everything wonderfully awful.
