Hmm, you're the first person to claim success in getting a MD permit.
What kind of reason did you have to give, or did you perform some
favors for the local politicos?

I tried once, and all that happened was I lost money on the
application process.  Superintendent of the State Police simply
trashed the paperwork, I believe.  Ditto for others I've spoken with
about the Maryland permit.
